Agent Skills
Also called Skills · Claude Skills · SKILL.md
An open format for packaging reusable agent expertise: a folder containing a SKILL.md file (name and description metadata plus instructions) and optional scripts, references and assets, which an agent loads only when a task calls for it. Anthropic published the standard and donated it to the Agentic AI Foundation in October 2026; Claude, Claude Code and many other agent platforms support it.
In plain English
A packaged how-to guide an AI agent loads only when a task needs it, such as your step-by-step process for building a funnel. Claude uses them, and so do many other AI tools.
